Congratulations Everlend

Everlend one of FinTech partners has been awarded with the The Tony Elumelu Foundation fellowship as an outstanding idea. It has been selected under Disruptor category, the highest ranking  category in start up program.

Everlend is a social digital (USSD, Web App, Call Center and agent based) platform that offers digital green loan (agricultural credits), sources for genuine quality affordable farm inputs as well as provide market information and last-mile delivery within 24 hours to farmers across Uganda. At Everlend, we use data and mobile tech to enable millions of low-income earners (like Farmers and small business owners especially youths and women) to access credit.

Everlend is on the mission of  “Creating Sustainable profits for last mile farmers & SMEs everywhere”

Everlend was founded in 2020 out of the desire to address a real problem that affects millions of people across Africa: the problem of lack of access to affordable and convenient credit services. Most banks are concentrated in urban centers and struggle to reach remote, rural communities. At the end of the program Everlend will receive a debt and equity free grant from the TEF which will enable it to go digital fully.
